POULTRY SHOW UPDATE

Poultry Show Move-In, Show day and Poultry Removal Information
Move-In day guidelines:
Monday, August 5th 4:00pm-7:00pm
Broiler weigh-in at 7:00pm
Barn will be locked at 9:00pm

Show day guidelines (NOTICE DATE CHANGE):
Building open at 7am to prep animals for judging.
Building closes at 8am until 1pm, or until judge is finished.
Winning exhibitors are to be available immediately following judging as the photographer
will be taking pictures to make posters to hang in the barn.
POULTRY MUST BE REMOVED AND TAKEN HOME IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE PLACINGS.

Livestock Sale (poultry only) guidelines:
Exhibitors will not have the sale poultry present, but a poster will be provided to go through the sale ring with.

7 AM - 4-H/FFA Youth Horse Show
Sunday, August 4th
6 AM - 11 AM: Livestock Inspection & Check-In
6 PM: Mandatory Exhibitor & Parent Meeting
Monday, August 5th
7 AM: Weigh and classify market swine; Market lambs 20 minutes after the swine, then meat goats to immediately follow lambs.
8 AM: Weigh beef cattle
9:30 AM: Weigh dairy heifers
Tuesday, August 6th
8 AM: Market Swine Show
8 AM: Poultry Show
6 PM: Dairy Heifer Show
Wednesday, August 7th
9 AM: Meat Goat Show
5 PM: Market Lamb Show
Thursday, August 8th
8 AM: Beef Heifer Show
8 AM: Rabbit Show
8:30 AM: Cloverbud Beef Showmanship
Market Steer Show, immed. following Cloverbud Beef Show
1 PM: Prospect Horse Show
3 PM: Disposition Deadline
Friday, August 9th
1 PM: Livestock Judging Contest
5:30 PM: Livestock Awards Dinner

-THE JUNIOR LIVESTOCK SALE LIST WILL BE AVAILABLE LATE FRIDAY AFTERNOON-

-REQUIRED FORMS-

WHOLESOME MEAT ACT : W-9 : MODEL RELEASE

The required forms must be turned in no later than July 22, 2024 at 5pm. The Wholesome Meat Act Form must have both the exhibitor's signature along with your 4-H Leader/FFA Advisor's signature. Form must be notarized prior to turning into the office.
Failure to submit forms before the deadline will result in not being able to check-in on Sunday.
