The title of Lea County Fair & Rodeo Queen, Princess, and Sweetheart holds a place of honor, as well as prestige. The titles represent not only the western way of life, but the quality of leadership among young women in Lea County. The Little Miss contestants represent the western way of life in being a cowgirl and in becoming a leader among young girls in Lea County.
